      The brand is solid Occasional thoughtfulness

      Cons

      Men are paid more than women for the same and similar roles Leave of absences are not protected like they should be legally Office politics Actively hostile to remote working compared to in person or hybrid Slow response time of team members, which signals this company tolerating poor performance and understaffing HR team is incredibly slow to respond - the worst response time out of anywhere I’ve worked Big egos at the VP level Unclear ownership Very top down

      Pros

      Love the people and the product. Everyone is genuinely passionate around making PlayStation great.

      Cons

      Compensation and growth. I fought for multiple years for a promotion and was not given it, even though I received the highest mark in performance reviews. Once I did get promoted my salary barely changed and found out that I only made $5k more than one of my direct reports that was a poor performer.

      - Process driven company where change is slow - Lack of diversity (in all ways possible) - Politics between teams makes it difficult for newcomers to ramp up - Work is done in silo and difficult to track owners
