      Great company with cool people and exciting projects

      Pros

      You get to work on exciting new projects They quite often have unannounced next-gen technology The equipment is high quality Cafeteria with subsidised lunches and cheap beers on Friday nights

      Cons

      Management can be difficult to communicate with Wages lower than expected, given the skills of the employees Projects are often canned, resulting in low employee morale

      Pros

      Nice neighborhood, free coffee. A couple of fun perks, such as free Sony Music CDs and a $10 voucher to spend monthly at the Playstation Network store online.

      Cons

      Low pay, long hours. If you're one of the "in crowd"--meaning you had a prior relationship with management--you get treated with a lot of respect, and are made to feel like part of the team. If not, not so much. Senior management all men with no kids--not much consideration for > 20-somethings with families. Not real big on self-criticism/project postmortems, which helps explain the ongoing poor performance (technical, not financial) of the Playstation Store.

      Pros

      Great products and a total blast to work with the fun people. Good competitive industry full of great smart people.

      Cons

      Lack of direction from Senior Management. Don't take great care of employees as it is a 'privilege' to work there. Not competitive salaries for same reason.
