Pros

Work from home, which was good and nice co-workers.

Cons

In October 2025, while I was on sick leave, I contacted HR to ask for help and possible solutions due to my health situation. I made it clear that I wanted to continue working if possible and proposed two reasonable options: temporarily working reduced hours until my health improved, or termination by employer initiative if reduced hours were not possible. I was told that reduced hours were not an option and that termination by employer initiative was also not possible. Instead, I was informed that the only available option was to end my contract by mutual agreement. This process was presented as urgent, and I was strongly rushed to proceed immediately, with everything needing to happen the very next day. At the same time, I was aware that an internal meeting was scheduled a few days later and I was invited to attend it, but I was not told what the meeting would be about. While I understand that companies cannot disclose future decisions, I believe I could reasonably have been advised to wait until this meeting before being pushed into making an irreversible decision under significant time pressure. Only three working days later, during that meeting, the entire department I worked in was laid off. Had I been advised to wait, or been given a realistic alternative that allowed me to continue working in a reduced capacity, I would not have agreed to a mutual termination. This decision had serious financial consequences for me, as it significantly reduced my income and access to financial support during a period when I was dealing with health issues and unable to immediately find new work. After this, I contacted the company multiple times to explain the situation and ask for clarification or support. Since early November, I have sent several emails and even a formal notice, but I have received no response. The most disappointing part of this experience is not only the lack of flexibility and support during illness, but also the complete absence of communication afterward.

Pros

Work from home, which was pretty chill.

Cons

While I was on medical sick leave, I contacted the company to ask what my options were and whether temporary reduced hours were possible while recovering. I was told this was not an option and that termination by mutual agreement was the only solution. Based on this information and under pressure, I signed. Only a few days later, my entire department was dismissed, even though a department-wide meeting had already been scheduled earlier and i was invited, they just didn’t tell me what it was about. After raising my concerns, one HR meeting took place, where I was told everything was handled correctly. Since then, I have been completely ignored, while they told me that they will answer me within a week. This experience showed a serious lack of transparency, communication, and care for employees in vulnerable situations.
