Money isn’t everything

Pros

The pay is good and getting free product as well as profit sharing and a chance to win extra cash on a big wheel spin every Friday.

Cons

Used to be hybrid for a very long time, they took that away and it quickly went downhill for a lot of people. I know for a fact, at least 7-10 people in my department alone that are looking for other jobs because the toxic environment and need to be in office with very little leniency. Having to take and use PTO for doctors appointments or just trying to get anything done in your life, they are watchdogs about that stuff and don’t treat you like adults. They said they would reevaluate hybrid after a certain amount of time and that didn’t happen. It’s very much is a “butts in seats” corporation, if they don’t see you at your desk at all times then you’re not getting your work done. This became a strain for a lot of people on top of that. There are a few members of senior leadership that are super toxic, i’ve recorded meetings where c-suite leadership has made multiple passive aggressive threats to the team, like “don’t do this or else” type stuff, and also noted several occasions where certain managers have been very sexist with jokes and comments everyone can hear. They’re quickly losing a lot of great people because of all of this and you can’t speak up or you’ll get “let go”. The company refuses to correct the bad behavior from the top. If you’re single with no family life or a workaholic then this place will be for you.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad you’ve found value in our compensation structure, including competitive pay, product perks, profit sharing, and our Friday wheel spin. These programs reward and recognize our team members for their contributions. We’re sorry that your experience with our return-to-office policy and workplace culture has not met your expectations. We understand that changes in work arrangements can be difficult, especially after an extended period of hybrid flexibility. Plexus is committed to respect, integrity, and inclusivity across all leadership levels. We’re committed to building a workplace where every team member feels respected, trusted, and empowered. We encourage team members to bring forward any concerns to our HR team. Again, thank you for your perspective and being part of the One Plexus team.

Pros

* Great products that actually do work and taste good. * Weekly cash drawings for all non Sr. Leadership staff (Director and above) * Bonuses for the most part were equally properly distributed. * Facilities team was great, friendly and outgoing. * Well engaged in the local community and happenings. * WFH to in-office was fairly well balanced. * Not all leaders were bad people some actually wanted to make positive change but got overruled. * Regularly paid lunches and quarterly profit sharing/bonuses. * Loved working there in the beginning but the last 6 months is when their score went from a 5 star to a 1 star.

Cons

* IT Operations Manager had a serious egotistic attitude and will terminate anyone (or if they don't report to him he will severally poison their advancement opportunities) who challenges his decisions or thought process. * Promotion of undeserved people while bypassing those that actually did the work. * Security Director was woefully inadequate in experience and backing education to lead a team of high performing individuals. * Far to reliant on offshore staff and development. * Refusal to properly secure the environment even if it meant protection customer data and systems. * Far too many backroom tech decisions were made without any input from those that it affected. * Far too much of "saying one thing, but doing the complete opposite" activity. * Conflict of interest between security, and operations. * CTO just sat in his office, and rarely came out to interact with any of the teams.
