The last two rounds of layoffs lead to people that worked for legacy tufts for many years (10-20 years) being laid off suddenly on a Monday morning with no plan for those left. The reasoning was restructuring but because these leaders with many years of service left immediately those left are scrambling to pick up the pieces and figure out how to handle things with limited distribution.

The company is going through a transition phase where the two companies are still merging and there are a lot of innefficiencies within this merge. Lack of communication between different departments creates a lot of confusion and the spread of incorrect information.
