Cons

So, the owner's two sons have been running the business for quite a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a complete disaster. Their "family" is like this little bubble where no one’s allowed to have their own opinion. It kind of worked for the dad before because he was smart and worked hard. But these sons? They’re not exactly brainiacs and they don’t bother working at all. They’re super self-absorbed and never take responsibility. One of them is like a big baby who makes everyone else decide things for him so he can blame them when it all goes wrong. The other one just causes chaos everywhere he goes and never has to deal with the mess. His dad just buys him a new company. So now, the only “leaders” left are these people with huge personality issues who can’t see how awful things have become. They’re definitely not trustworthy and can only drag the business further down. If you care about your career or your mental well-being, you definitely don’t want to work here.

Nice Place To Work

Pros

Polysciences is a great place to work. Ownership and leadership genuinely value the employees. Management is open to listening and communicates well with everyone. It's nice to hear the message from leadership at the monthly employee meetings. The company is full of bright, dedicated, and passionate people who care about solving problems. My experience has been positive, and the supportive, collaborative atmosphere is a big plus. They also care about work-life balance, with half-day Fridays in the summer being a fantastic perk.

Cons

None to mention at this time.
