Pros

Side change. Literal change. Can work from home. Customer service lags during certain hours (assuming they’re not in office) but once they are available, they’re kind, patient, and courteous.

Cons

If these people are utilizing smart business practices, they’re making 3 times the amount that they pay their laundry attendants. AT LEAST. to pay someone only $20, $10, $15, for several hours worth of work is literal Slave Labor. They’re robbing us!! I just got paid $10 for 10 hours worth of work. That’s like $1 an hour. Is that even LEGAL?? I get it. They’re paying $0.74/$0.75 cents per pound and sometimes more if you get the order done and returned the same day, but 9x out of 10, they KNOW it’s not possible for you to finish the laundry before the 8pm deadline if you didn’t pick it up until 2-3pm and the client has 2 overly stuffed overly large hampers / bags full of clothes. New customers tip well so I always try to chose new customers over existing. But that’s really the only time you recoup even half of what you spent picking up, laundering, and dropping off the order. I took snapshots of my orders/payouts and wish I could post them here for new people to see. This company is literally using the crap out of us and if you were smart, you’d start trying to build your own client base and leave this company. Where I live, in Southern California, the most I would make in a week is $130-$150 if I took on same day orders. Otherwise, if I only take next day orders, I’m looking at $60-$70 tops. PER WEEK! Do yourself a favor and find a better job while working for your snack change aka Poplin.

Pros

If you have a washer dryer you can make some money while looking for a real job from home

Cons

This orders come in slow. This unfortunately adds to the culture that doesn’t really tip well for the work done. If a customer doesn’t tip it almost isn’t worth the job. Of course you have to get your own supplies. The pay 💰 s about a $1 a pound for laundry. After you add in the cost of electricity, laundry supplies, gas and bag decorating it’s around .75 a pound that you will make.
