Great experience for those fresh out of college who are looking to gain work experience Good perks for those with families Opportunity to work from home

Cons

Be ready to work long and hard hours Technology is outdated and clunky Even with work from home options, work-life balance is hard to achieve Little opportunity to grow Clients happiness is more important than employees well-being High turn-over rate due to lack of growth and morale

While we certainly expect hard work, our internal culture and climber well-being are the most important things to us. If this isn't what you're experiencing, we'd love to hear more details so we can improve. Please reach out to HR or pgfeedback@populusgroup.com if you'd like to talk more. Thanks again!

Pros

PG has a unique culture and it’s true, it’s not for everybody! We value candor, transparency, and giving and receiving feedback (continuously) because we believe that’s the best way to build trust with our employees, customers and partners. I’ve been with PG over three years now and have gotten some of the most candid feedback I’ve received in my career (from both managers and peers). Yes it stunk at the time and was tough to hear, but those are the things that build character and trust. I am so grateful for this culture because you’re able to safely bring up things that bother you or share ideas that aren’t welcome in other work environments. We are really selective in our interview process because we want to make sure those who join our community value the same things. Otherwise it’s not successful for either end. Overall, love PG, its values, leadership and the community they have built.

Cons

If you have thin skin or lack accountability you won’t be successful here. Truly a rewarding culture if you’re someone who takes ownership of themselves, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Thanks for taking the time to write this! It's true - our culture places high value on candid feedback, which fosters a lot of trust and growth. But it's certainly not for everyone!
