Pros

Populus Group is an organization strongly defined by culture and purpose. So many companies blur together in terms of their impact on the world (beyond enriching ownership). PG creates clarity in its reason for being in existence -- to help disadvantage children thrive. This is a true community of like-minded individuals who come together to create a uniquely powerful culture and family, dedicated to serving their customers with creativity and un-matched quality. It was an honor to be a part of this organization.

Cons

This is not a culture for everyone. The demands are as great as the rewards. You'll be asked to work harder than you've ever worked before. But you will enjoy it, and you'll find yourself going home each day thankful to have found the opportunity to have made a difference in people's lives.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. I am happy to hear that you had a positive experience working with our immigration team and that you received your paycheck in a timely manner. It would be helpful to learn more about your feedback regarding bench periods and not having direct clients. If you could please email additional details to me at pgfeedback@populusgroup.com, that will help me learn how we can get better in these areas.

Low Pay/High Turn Over

Pros

PG puts an emphasis on continuing education and self development. The people there are really great to work with and very talented.

Cons

There is a lot of turn over in PG due to poor management and low pay. In the Seattle office, you will be living paycheck to paycheck. PG hires educated, talented, driven folks but they are unable to retain them due to lack of internal opportunities, being over worked, and under paid.

We appreciate the feedback and are also sad to hear that your experience fell short of your expectations. While we do put a lot of stock into self-development and owning your career path, we know it’s sometimes hard to see what that path looks like. We’d welcome any ideas you have that would help us get better at this, feel free to contact us directly at pgfeedback@populusgroup.com.
