Faculty and students are the best humans you will ever meet.

Cons

Administration, management, and the president's office (and related mendicants) are as under-qualified as they are over-confident. Expect cliques, nepotism, cronyism and favoritism under a benevolent guise of social justice and employee equity. Don't expect to be heard or cared about, especially by your union coworkers. A disturbing amount of them don't pay dues and simply bend to management's whim. But those same colleagues are only too happy to take those union raises.
