Pros

Excellent colleagues, really smart and compassionate people who believe in the mission of clean energy for all Oregonians.

Cons

Too many managers trying to manage down and create unnecessary hoops to get the work done.

Pros

There’s no bond like a trauma bond

Cons

Disorganized management and unclear communication. I had 5 supervisors in the matter of months due to people constantly going on leave which meant they had no idea how to work with the team. Because they never had enough time to build a relationship with the team when you reach out to them they have no idea how to assist or are too busy for you. There is no consistency imagine asking for feedback and be told you are doing great only to be degraded by a different supervisor a few weeks later for the same work. Inconsistent enforcement of policy. One person can do something daily with no consequences while someone else does the same thing once and will lose their job Success is directly related to who you know people can have low performance but be promoted immediately based on who they know while people who are exceeding expectations get stuck in the same place for years. Promises of room for movement but movement is rare unless you know the right people and is not merit based
