Pros

Good pay, profit sharing and benefits, along with some great co-workers.

Cons

Senior leadership is a hot mess express and has created a culture of fear, micro-management and retribution. Have great out of the box ideas? You'll never have an opportunity to voice them much less see them to fruition. Have a desire to up-level your line of business? You'll have to work around the sycophants installed when the super capable ones were fired/retired. Want to work the plan? There is no plan - it's all swirl, all the time.

We appreciate your candid feedback and the time you took to share your experience with us, and we take your concerns seriously. We strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for all our employees, and your feedback helps us identify areas where we can improve. Innovation and collaboration are, indeed, highly valued at PGE. That desire to nurture those qualities – as well as the connection between employees — is why flexible work expectations at PGE were updated in July 2023 so employees were asked to be onsite, with their teams, one day a week. The energy industry is evolving quickly and, with our commitment to delivering clean, reliable energy to our fellow Oregonians, the pace at PGE is rapid. Continuous improvement is a priority, and we are moving quickly to update the tools we use for everything from creating purchase orders to managing payroll. We would welcome the opportunity to learn more about your concerns and any specific suggestions you might have. If you're open to it, we encourage you to reach out to our HR department directly at 503-464-7250 so we can have a more in-depth conversation. -Sequoia
