Pros

Good pay and decent benefits. Good mission to provide electricity to customers.

Cons

Officers and Directors hide behind "confidential surveys" to judge your performance, but don't give any useable feedback if your review is not perfect. Disgruntled employees can say anything on the confidential survey and you have no ability to defend yourself or explain why the employee is disgruntled.

Pros

Almost all IT is work from home, the coworkers are fun and respectful, and there are a wide variety of things to work on. The last few years have seen the company go from an extremely risk-averse IT approach to adopting a more fast paced, cutting edge approach to problem solving. If you want flexibility, this is a great company to work for. Annual bonuses are pretty good, and raises in IT can be as high as 8-10% if the stars align (maximum end of year employee review score + maximum overall company growth vs estimated growth for the year).

Cons

No direct cons. One thing to consider however: As a salaried employee with on-call commitments, I was told upfront that any evening/weekend hours are compensated with a mindset of "we pay a higher base salary", but I never received an explanation of how much that actually affected my base pay. I'm guessing that statement is true in relationship to other jobs at the company, but there are probably other pure software development positions out there that pay more and expect no weekends or overtime. Not the end of the world; just something to be aware of. If you would rather have something closer to 50/50 coding vs maintenance with flexibility, this might interest you.
