Toxic Leadership

Pros

Good benefits. Teams compose of passionate people. Lots of work that needs to be done.

Cons

Poor leadership accountability. Poor communication is direction. Low job security and confidence. Wrong people (and the same types of people) keep getting promoted. Instead of working through difficult times to address root cause, leadership is using these as poor performance and cleaning out. Moral is low, which has increased turnover significantly.

Change is the only thing consistent

Pros

If you are liked, lots of opportunities; good pay; employee's genuinely care.

Cons

A lot of ego; constant change; lack of prioritization; do more with less; poor management and accountability; too many meetings; unfair practices like "you have to work in the office 3 days/week, but your leadership can be remote;" always chasing the next shiny object; everything is an exception.
