So far so good. First time I've had work/life balance in a long time.
Pros
I've been working here for under a year, and so far, it is a great place to work. Leadership is thoughtful. Micromanagement is non-existent. There is room for career growth as many people move into more senior positions. I appreciate how much time people take to think about how the company can grow while still trying to keep it a sane, manageable workload. It is fully remote, and because they have been remote pre-pandemic, they know how to run a remote operation. Solid benefits with a PTO policy that actually encourages taking time off. Family-friendly workplace -- they understand that people need autonomy to be able to live their lives (pick up kids, drs. appointments, self-care, etc.)
Cons
You do have to be motivated to work independently and do some digging to find answers to various questions that come up, though it seems like they are working to make this whole process easier and more efficient.
