Pros

This company starts out strong with a unique type of therapy and mission to serve children.

Cons

However, as a potential employee, the contracting process was sloppy and unorganized and even once signed, communication was poor and they did not wait until the start date to begin credentialing. They do not respect, or pay attention to, boundaries, and do not tolerate feedback or self advocacy. I quit before I even started.

Pros

A truly rare company culture filled with thoughtful, kind, mission-driven people with a CEO that cares deeply and welcomes thoughts, suggestions, and feedback from any employee. They also offer a 401K for part time workers. The work we do is changing the lives of children and families with autism. I continue to be impressed and relieved by how genuine, transparent, and supportive this company is across the board.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of any cons. (I do wish there were more opportunities for PT worker advancement into FT staff with higher pay and medical benefits, but I think the company is working on this)

Pros

- Everyone on my team is so supportive of not only me but of each other, prioritizing communication, honesty, and care. - The job itself is so fun! It gives me the chance to be silly and have fun while knowing I'm making a difference for my clients and their families. - It has opened me up to the world of autism and different types of therapies; this job truly teaches you something new with every client during every session. - The pay is great!! I receive compensations for floating holidays and drive time, even as a part-time employee.

Cons

- Definitely takes a while to adjust to the flow of things, especially writing the post-session notes. It, of course, gets easier, but it does take a lot of time and patience. - Finding clients, at least in my area, has been tricky, so finding a new client or multiple clients within a nearby range is not always possible. - Coming from someone who is also a full-time student, it can be easy to lose track of the duties outside of sessions (meetings, phone calls, etc.). I tend to have to set multiple reminders for those sorts of things.

Pros

Seems like a great model in autism

Cons

I was hired to work for this company. Offered a job with a pretty decent starting pay. And then moved across country to work specifically for this location. After attending training and being assigned a client. I was then told, I am not the right fit for the company because I am not personable, after meeting with the case manager and the Dr via teams once for 30 minutes. I was never given the opportunity to actually work for the company in order for them to make an assessment of my work ethic. Keep in mind I’ve been in this field for 4 years and just completed an assignment in Seattle. Great company with a lot of potential. But when management is only interested in hiring who they want to hire and not who is actually qualified to do the job, you experience gaps in service and poorly trained behavior techs. Leading to high turnover.
