Pros

Post Holdings was a wonderful place to work. They treat employees fairly and have good benefits. If you put forth effort and care about your work you should enjoy working there.

Cons

New hires start on night shift and employees work 12 hour shifts. Day positions could take a couple of years or so to become available.

Pros

A mix of working in the office (Tues-Thurs) and at home (Mon & Fri). A stable company since we all need food. By and large, corporate employees were friendly, thoughtful, and fun. Free cereals and soft drinks in the office. The CEO seemed to be cool and pretty approachable.

Cons

Collaborations outside of immediate team were frowned upon. The company has disproportionately large number of "managers" to individual contributors. HR department cared for employees if and only when they did as they were told. The solution to employees who were hateful, incompetent, and belligerent was to promote them + paid them more. Certain teams were governed by micromanagers. Any accommodations were met with delays, disdain, and subtle retaliations (less interesting projects, suddenly more mistakes were found, changes in how formal communications took place). Awards were given out to employees with the best schmoozing ability. HR leaders paid great lip services on focusing employees first.
