Pros

I've been working here for about six months now, and I haven't looked back. I was given an opportunity to work for this company and it has become my home away from home. Everyone at the company truly cares about each other, and is willing to go above and beyond what is expected, not because they have to, but because they want to. The culture is unlike any other job I've ever worked at before, it is really a work hard, play hard mentality. Every day I come to work is different than the day before and even more exciting and I continue to learn more about not only the industry but also about people. It can be common in some workplaces, that you are given a nominal amount of training at the beginning of your career and then just left to figure it out, that is not the case at Power. Training is on going, and since I was willing to learn, there was always someone who was willing to teach me because everyone wants everyone else to succeed. One of the best things about working here though is the unlimited potential for not only making money but also for advancement. The company is large, but still rapidly growing and so there are constantly new positions opening up all over the nation, and the company is small enough that new departments are created to fill voids that were not even known to exist. Power is not a company that cares where you came from or what industry you were in before. If you have the willingness to learn and be open, you are given all the tools needed to be successful and thrive not only professionally but also personally as well. It is something that could easily be taken for granted, but seeing the team culture permeate through the entire company gets me excited to wake up everyday and learn something new.

Cons

Like I mentioned it is a work hard, play hard environment and being such the amount of work you put in directly correlates to how much you get out of it. You must be willing to work hard to achieve your goals, and it isn't easy. But nothing in life worth having is easy. Expectations to perform are high and you must stay disciplined and give 110%, but the end result is being rewarded 5-fold. It is definitely not a job for everyone, and if you're looking for the easy way out, you're looking in the wrong place.

Pros

This is definitely one of the best companies I've worked for. The pay was good if you put in the work and challenged yourself, which is something this job does; they challenge you and hope you'll challenge yourself. Don't expect to be comfortable. This job taught me to strive for more, to better myself more than I previously would. The atmosphere is phenomenal. I've made friends, whether they're currently with the company or not. They hire like-minded people. Management is very interpersonal. They offer vacations for simply doing your job. Three night in France with a guest, and that's not it. You can win a new playstation, television, gas cards. Prior to getting this job I was worried about these reviews to be completely honest. I thought this was a hoax. I'm twenty years old, and dropped out of college. I didn't think at this stage in my life I had potential to earn $60,000+ a year. If you're considering working for Power, I recommend diving right into it. You have no idea what you could be missing. Overall, here are the key points. - Benefits & 401k - Great atmosphere - Uncapped commission - Genuine management - Opportunity to grow - Outstanding learning experience - Days off are easy to obtain

Cons

The schedule can be tough. You don't just work in the office all day, you're not making cold calls at a desk. You're either working in a store, you're walking door to door, or you're in sales (in which case, you're still traveling.) Time management can be difficult because of this. Suppose you're from South Jersey, and you're working an hour north from the office. That's a two hour commute home. This isn't typical, but it can happen if you're needed. It can be uncomfortable, but you at least need to embrace it. If you're not devoted at first and put forth a lot of time and effort, you won't be rewarded.

Pros

While at power, I was treated like a member of a very close family. My department was such a tight knit group of people that became friends, and not just coworkers. I learned a lot at power that I will carry with me throughout my entire life.

Cons

For me, I enjoyed the time I spent at Power. No complaints here.
