Excellent work environment with supportive, encouraging, co-workers. Management understands that people have interests and families outside of work.

The nature of consulting can at times feel "on demand".

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Fast paced work and interesting work. A lot of great people in general throughout the company who are knowledgeable professionals.

Cons

While most departments have good management, not all departments are the same. The department I worked in created a toxic work environment. Worked long hours and was verbally mistreated on a regular basis. Was encouraged to seek professional development opportunities but then was denied those opportunities by the department manager after taking initiative.
