Pros
(Star rating based on current year; previously would have been 5). Although not as great as starting years, benefits are ok. What you don't get in cash, you get in decent health care, vision, and dental; training stipend if you have a job that has free time for it; college reimbursement; 401k matching; and a pretty good work/life balance.
Cons
Next to zero opportunities laterally or vertically. Once you're on contract making the company money, you're stuck until the contract ends, is not renewed, or gets cancelled with next to no warning. If you end up on overhead, start looking for something else unless you live in the DMV area since there won't be anything for you.
