Pros

Exposure to a wide variety of manufacturing processes. I would say pretty good pay relative to the area cost of living. Interesting technical challenges which keeps your mind fresh and isn't repetitious.

Cons

High standards and expectations which aren't always attainable due to equipment/man power/economic climate. Sometimes the flashy go further than the technically competent.

Good vision of the CEO, great working people throughout the company; however, low pay, and a lot of work.

Cons

Working 24/7 with low pay. True lean manufacturing. The C-suite have each other backs and do not promote within. FDPs make more money then seasoned personnel.
