Great Place to Work

Pros

Precision is just what it's name suggests, a well oiled machine. It is effective in generating new business. It's communication with me early on in the interview process was very thorough and professional. The way it prepared me for the interview process was very effective. It's communication with me after I started employment has been just right in terms of appropriateness, timing and frequency. Management is accessible always. A typical day at work ends up being what I make of it which in my case means as challenging as I want. That ends up being both the hardest and most enjoyable aspect of my job at the same time. The areas where I have gained the most knowledge are those specific to Precision's customers who would be considered large enterprises. My background has mostly been mid sized enterprises.

IT Recruiter

Business Outlook

Pros

- Close knit friendly office environment - A wonderful place to learn the ropes of IT recruiting (and sales): you can literally walk in day one with zero marketable skills (other than a degree) and be successful if you are motivated - No egos, posturing, or office politics - Good compensation structure (uncapped) from the start - Management is willing to change based on feedback - Ability for consistent financial growth correlated to individual "hustle" - Job Security: Precision has been consistently working with established clients for decades - You can directly impact your paycheck, more so than most jobs - FREE OFFICE LUNCH(!!!) once a week - Genuinely decent, good natured people (coworkers and management)

Cons

- You need to be intrinsically motivated (don't get into commission based IT recruiting if you aren't) - Limited upward mobility (in terms of job responsibilities, not your paycheck): it's a smaller office where ownership is still very hands-on in the day-to-day operation. - Not a rapid growth oriented start-up (you are not getting in on the ground floor) - Perhaps overly reliant on a few "big fish" clients - Don't expect 9-5 (more like 9-7 + availability after hours) - Not much changes (both a "pro" and "con") - High turnover (typical of the recruiting field)

Pros

Every single person I interacted with, from the recruiter, to benefits coordinator, to management, was extremely professional, knowledgable, and responsive. The recruiting manager was invested in helping me succeed and took on a consultative/mentoring role which I greatly appreciated. I am grateful that they found me and I had the opportunity to work with them, as I truly felt valued as an employee.

Cons

I do not have any cons.
