Good coworkers. Customer service and lab personnel were great.
Cons
Not a good place to work during a down economy. Private equity ownership at its worst, influencing leadership to be extremely selfish and short sited. Management has the idea that sales will grow by 10% plus every year regardless of the economy and how large customers are performing. This is unrealistic. Commission is based on the unrealistic year over year growth numbers. They will fire people in order to hit short term profitability goals which is disgusting. My business groups leadership is a rolling dumpster fire full of self promoting back stabbers. The leadership only cares about how they are personally perceived by their uppers and do not care about how they treat their team. There is no loyalty with this company. Constant quality problems take far too much of your time as an account manager. The product performance is OK overall but there is not a compelling case for customers to switch from more well known and established competitors. You are not allowed to set the price to get the sale. The sales leadership was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Not a place to build a career.
