Pros

Worked with outstanding groups of people in IT and elsewhere with excellent managers. Most people will work well with most managers. Goals and initiatives are usually well thought out and communicated. The customer experience is supposed to be considered in every decision, and this was true in most situations.

Cons

Some groups can be difficult to work in. Different managers run their teams differently. Some people may find it very difficult to work for some managers. Some areas also have a stressful environment. Make sure you have a fit with those you will work with. The stress level may be higher with the recent security breach.
