      Uncertainty isn't good for Businesss, But Life at Premier is Uncertain

      Pros

      Beautiful offices, potential to earn very good money, many young energetic colleagues many of whom truly enjoy their work. Cool clients.

      Cons

      So much uncertainty. Comp structure changes once a quarter, sometimes once a month. Lots of leadership churn, very little leadership experience among those promoted to management. Gut-based decision making. Flower budget and extravagant rewards along side regular restructuring/lay-offs. Nepotism.

      Pros

      Relationships are valued, employees are cared for, they do special things like bring gifts to your first long-term assignment and send a halloween thank you card with pumpkin seeds, the jobs that are proposed are interesting and varied, employee preferences are respected, there is flexibility around contract assignments (i.e., can leave within 2 weeks of starting assignment if it's not a good fit), recruiters check in with their employees, they give relevant interview advice, benefits offered, I heard back from someone immediately after submitting my resume.

      Cons

      I can't really think of any downsides to working at Premier, except maybe that it's hourly wage rather than salary. Although that may just be because I've only done temporary assignments through them.
