Pros

The doctors/coworkers are great and thats pretty much it. Most doctors are very informative and like to teach. company does offer benefits.

Cons

Low wages, horrible location, patients you treat are usually homeless african americans with psychiatric issues. most patients are very demanding and disrespectful.

Pros

Best reasons for working here include a community that does not have many options for quality healthcare in their immediate area. The community needs qualified, caring, skilled workers.

Cons

This hospital does not adequately train staff. Medical personnel are put on the floor without sufficient training and an extreme lack of support. Staff are continuously expected to do more with less and it's the patients that are suffering from this lack or responsible training, support, and consistent leadership. Staff are rude to each other and rude to patients. Policies that change constantly with very little communication.

Pros

Supervisor guides you and then lets you have ownership of your work... he leaves you alone and doesn't bother you unless it is necessary. Coworkers are nice!

Cons

Pay is good but not competitive, specially if you are part time or full time. People work very hard and they are paid a misery.
