Pros

Princeton obviously has some of the best faculty in the world. The undergrads are also generally brilliant, and usually pretty nice and agreeable, too. The stipend is very reasonable, though cost of living in the area is very expensive. Princeton is a nice town, though people who prefer cities tend to find it quite boring.

Cons

Prepare for the campus administration to treat you like an 18 year old for the next 5 years of your life. Your experience at the university will differ wildly depending on your department and advisor, obviously.

Pros

There are some great people who work here, but it varies by dept. Benefits and perks are good.

Cons

Has become more corporate in the last 5 years, much less security and morale is down across the board. Avoid procurement services/sourcing dept, assoc. director does not have good people management skills.

Stable job atmosphere and union. pay is not bad for being a food service worker. Good benefits, and some perks that make it worth staying at job.

Cons

No work over the summer; no advancement or promotional opportunities. Need to know someone or be related to someone to get hired in other positions.
