Pros

Great facilities, multiple opportunities and connections. Many companies come here to hire. Compensations are reasonable (medical, retirement plans).

Cons

Very high cost of living. Salaries are not according to experience. For single person not easy to afford your own apartment.

Pros

Excellent benefits and competitive salary. Beautiful campus and lovely town surrounding the university, Engaged students who are there to learn!

Cons

Though you are compensated well you do not see cost of living increases or raises regularly but you are expected to increase your work load constantly!

Pros

Small department, pushy professor, great access to courses.

Cons

Depending on the advisor, working can be intense, often going to 16 to 18 hour work days. However, after a period of intense work, we can often take a few days off.
