Pros

Excellent salary and benefits, beautiful campus, use of college facilities.

Cons

If you didn't actually attend Princeton and are non-faculty, you are treated as subservient. Lots of backstabbing and political maneuvering for the better jobs.

Pros

You will never want for resources. If you have an idea for something there is probably money for it somewhere. The network is full of powerful and influential people; though it tends to be segregated. As a graduate student I was well taken care of.

Cons

The town is stuck in the 1950s, and it was even behind the times then. There are huge wealth disparities that loom over the entire area. It is a vigilantly self-protected bubble of prestige and intellectual reclusiveness. It is hard to find an appropriate word for the culture there--one where every conversation is high stakes and with consequences for one's status. If you're looking for any sort of cosmopolitan sensibilities, you've come to the wrong place.
