      I love working for Principal!

      Pros

      I have had a really great experience working at Principal. They pay fairly, and have great 401(k) matching. Great work/life balance.

      Cons

      The health insurance could be better for such a large company. They don't over charge their employees for it but, the ER co-pay on the better plan is $750, which is pretty high.

      Too many expectations w little pay

      Work from home Early schedule during training

      Cons

      100+calls in the Queue daily, call after call, mandatory overtime, and you are expected not to use acw or aux into anything. They don’t pay your earned pto when you no longer work there, you are just a number and is stressful. More than 3 call offs in 90 days and you get fired.
