Pros

Make your own schedule, decide who you would like to work with, and gain some great skills in business strategy.

Cons

You have to wear all hats, unless you have enough income to pay someone to help with admin and billing. The mental health system in general is broken, and there is little support for therapists. Burnout rate is very high, especially if you would like a decent salary.
