      High intensity, but can be understaffed

      Pros

      Great work experience and ability to excel in nursing career. Teaching hospital can be a good thing for learning the new things coming out of school. Pay has been equalized recently to be more fair w/ national average. Most managers will not baulk at staying later than shift end if the night was busy.

      Cons

      Very physician-centric mentality to a fault. Salaries were not comparable until recently.

      Pros

      I had a lot of opportunity for various experiences and projects, my supervisor was amazing and I felt like my department really cared about me.

      Cons

      The pay wasn't great; it's a non-profit health system, so at the lower level I supposed that's to to expected.
