Very competitive environment that places premium on who you know to work your way up the ladder. If you can talk well and keep your nose clean, you can do well here. Very difficult place to get hired into. The process is lengthy and utilizes psychological and aptitude tests to ensure candidates will conform and succeed in this environment. This can result in missing candidates who will challenge the status quo and innovate.

Up and out mentality even at lower levels, company is worried about offending anyone and sometimes their true meaning becomes white-washed. If you were told that you did a good job at something that is equivalent to a low rating. No consistency in who gets fired and for what. I have seen internal whistle blowers terminated and the others involved received a lesser punishment.
