Pros

people are down to earth and easy going; lots of opportunities if you are willing to stay in cincinnati family culture

Cons

difficult to design your own career path because they change your assignement or position without making sure that's what you want

Pros

The hours are flexible. There is no issue if you need to take time off. The research division is doing amazing things.

Cons

most of your peers are not intelligent. there are no benefits aside from your paycheck. there is a horrible divide between full time employees and contract employees. No one in management really seems to know or care about what is going on. Any time a situation arises the answer is usually "dont complain you are lucky to have a job".

Pros

Very prestigious comapany, treated like royality when interacting with companies outside of Proctor and Gamble. Proctor and Gamble is very supportive of continuing education. Facilities are state of the art..

Cons

As a Gillette "carry over" life at Proctor and Gamble (P&G) was shear misery. "Gilletters" are second class citizens in the world of P&G. You are constantly reminded that P&G is superior to anything Gillette, including it's personnel. There are two sets of compensation and benefits; one for the "true P&G" employees and the other for the "Gillette carry overs". The lesson to be learned here is; if your company is being bought or persued for purchase by P&G, BEWARE. Despite what P&G may promise the employees of the tendered company, the reality will be misery.
