Pros

Large company and very prestigious. Hands on work for everyone, and as an intern, you're able to interact with a lot of higher-ups. They also have activities for interns, so you're not all alone in your free time outside of work. The hours are good, and can be flexible from day-to-day, providing you give enough notice to your manager. Overall, I felt this was a good experience for such a large corporation. There are plenty of opportunities to travel and advance or move around the company.

Cons

Cincinnati is just a midwestern city, personally, I crave more sometimes, although it was fun living in one dorm at Xavier with all the other interns.

Pros

The best reason to work here are the people. We've managed to attract and hire an outstanding group, passionate, articulate, knowledgeable and willing to learn something everyday. They are a great group to work with and for.

Cons

The work life balance can be a little tough. We are in a very fast paced, volatile industry and must stay at the leading edge of performance in order to stay competitive with our rivals. Given that, we tend to put in a lot of hours trying to accomplish our goals. However, we need our bosses to tell us it's all right to leave some work to be done tomorrow, to spend time with our families or on our own to grow ourselves.

Pros

The reputation of the company is wonderful. Working for Procter & Gamble in Marketing has really increased my job opportunities within the Consumer Products industry.

Cons

You are generally required to spend some time working out of Cincinnati. There are limited opportunities in Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Boston. As the company is entirely promote from within, any external experience is disregarded. There is a lot of beauracracy and it takes a long time for things to get done.
