Was bought by ThermoFisher in 2021 and there’s still a lot of internal restructuring happening that makes for a lot of disorganization and confusion at times. This is counteracted by helpful managers who communicate with their direct reports about what’s going on, but not all managers are as transparent and understanding as others. People have been promised promotions and/or raises by their managers that have fallen through with no explanation.

They have 2 sets of standards for who and how they promote. Thermo Fisher has their work cut out for them.
