Pros

Will learn alot in a short time. Direct services with high acuity clients in need. A good starter experience in the field prior to graduate school. Some of the programs have good teams that stick together.

Cons

Employees generally overworked and burned out. Organization well-intentioned but management is very dysfunctional.

Pros

A lot of room for growth, and ability to move into higher positions. Opportunity to advocate and work with clients. Good opportunity for people wanting to move into a supervisor role.

Cons

On-call system can be really hard if you dont have a supportive PD, leads to burnout quickly.
