Overall an Excellent Company to Work For

Pros

-Generous paid time off particularly once you reach your 5 year mark. -Plenty of training opportunities. -Work from home permanently has finally become an option. -The annual Gainshare bonus program. -Career opportunities are limitless here, an individual could start on the service desk and climb as high as the consultant role for the technical route or move over to management.

Cons

-Took the events of COVID-19 to be able to work from home permanently. -Your personal experience may vary from team to team and manager to manager, however this happens at any large corporation. -The corporate reorganization of teams every few years does become a burden after a while.

Pros

Progressives Culture is one of the best I have seen. They really care about their employees and the work environment they create. During this unprecedented pandemic, Progressive quickly stepped up and allowed all their staff to work from home. They spun up a financial package to help employees during that time and sent out credits to all their customers as well. Progressive is a great place to work!

Cons

I have yet to find something that I truly don't like.

Pros

Progressive offers a great working environment. Infrastructure is updated periodically, so the old tech that still requires maintenance is pretty limited. New infrastructure is constantly being considered. Very hands-on kind of job.

Cons

A lot of hoops need to be jumped to get to a desired position. Corporate game is big here when it comes to promotions and team assignments. A lot of admin work is required for an engineer on the lower levels to move up to more technical tiers.
