Pros

Great Employees/Coworkers Very Personable Upper Management (never experienced any form of micromanaging) Job Autonomy (!!!) Pretty Laid Back Work Environment Great Starting Point if you would like to start a career in the Auto Insurance Industry Job Security Easy Job to catch onto

Cons

DAILY WORKLOAD NO (And I cannot stress this enough) Work/Life Balance. You are given a ton of PTO time but your damned if you use it. You’ll pay for your time off with long hours, unrealistic claimloads and expectations, as well as entitled/rude customers when you come back into work. Very Metric/Stats Based Position TERRIBLE PAY (!!!) for the amount of work and stress this position entails TERRIBLE Health Insurance Coverage (Don’t even bother signing up for PPO Coverage; the provider will still restrict your coverages. And BEWARE if you have underlying health issues and NEED health coverage) You’re expected to basically do the work for 10 different roles for one position. Even if you have amazing time management skills, you’ll still be stressed out to some degree Your basically a glorified call center worker and are expected to take inbound calls inbetween your current/newly assigned workload Office Politics (if you want to be promoted - worry more about impressing/smooching to the right people; not your work performance) Because of the workload; the job becomes very monotonous and robotic VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE (!!!) - The longer you stay in this position the more work you will be assigned due to the turnover rate

Pros

The best thing are the benefits and company culture.

Cons

The worst thing about my experience has been my supervisor's lack of care about employees and helpfulness. The attendance policy also is harsh for when you are sick.
