Pros

Training, Learning and development, Paid time off, bonus payout (profit sharing), freedom on road, ability to take what you've learned and go elsewhere.

Cons

Work vs life balance. No overtime pay structure. Lack of promotability within the local office. Lack of continued investment in employee development.

Pros

Good place to learn under pressure, obtain traing to use for other competitors that will seek you after you burn out.

Cons

Was formerly a great place to work. Corporate out of touch with reality, state level managers are robots. Stay away.

Pros

Name recognition, everyone knows Progressive Insurance. One of industry leaders in Insurance business. If you are good at sucking up to management then this is NOT a bad place to work.

Cons

Progressive likes to be known as a "Technology company that happens to sell Insurance". This is the biggest lie and anyone who has worked for Progressive IT will agree with my conclusion
