Pros

Mission driven to support students and teachers across the country in STEM education

Cons

Over the past 5 years, is losing its grassroots, educator-based culture. Being replaced by business leaders who talk more about meeting growth goals and analytics than they do about education and student experiences

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Project Lead The Way (PLTW) has defined a bold 10-year vision, known as our North Star, where we are committed to growing our reach to U.S. PreK-12 students in schools and beyond. Achieving PLTW's bold North Star requires our organization to dramatically diversify and increase the number of students participating in PLTW programs. PLTW provides inclusive and equitable experiences that allow all students and teachers to see themselves in our products and training. Our DEIB strategy focuses on transforming our ability to serve any student, anywhere, efficiently and effectively.

Not a place for educators with passion

Pros

Paid time off, not much else

Cons

Those with a sincere passion for education should move on. The organization portrays a close knit family feel, but in actuality is one of favoritism and poor leadership. Lack of training, lack of communication, individual thought and suggestions not appreciated, disrespect for educators. Structure and guidance does not exist here.
