      Pros

      I had a great onboarding experience when joining Proofpoint and always felt in the loop with the decision making. Great team and company culture that's forward thinking and incredibly inclusive. Lots of opportunities to advance in my career, without feeling the pressure to push myself unnecessarily. No one feels too senior to approach with a question and I feel continually supported by my managers and peers.

      Cons

      I work on a 90% remote basis, so it can feel a little isolating at times.

      The engineers are technically gifted and work well as a team, the managers work well together to create a good work environment

      Cons

      Currently Proofpoint is a held by a private company, and the total compensation has suffered from when it was publicly traded and a part of the total comp was shares. Also programs like ESPP were available.
