Not The Company it Once Was

Pros

Supportive teammates, industry leading products, opportunity for BDR advancement, excellent local leadership and onboarding team, and exposure to a fast-moving environment.

Cons

Demanding role that combines account management, customer success, and support responsibilities while still carrying a sales quota. Work hours span multiple time zones, making work-life balance challenging. Unlimited PTO is significantly limited by blackout periods. Frequent territory changes, internal meetings, and shorter performance cycles make quota attainment extremely challenging. Role was presented as three days in the office and two days remote, but was recently changed to four days in the office. This shift came right after HR acknowledged negative employee feedback about "the relentless pace" and lack of focus on well-being, which indicated senior leadership is not listening. Culture of burnout. (A shift that came after the acquisition by Thoma Bravo. It used to be an amazing place to work.) Base pay is very low for the expectations, and there is NO quota relief for LOA, FMLA, or parental leave.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for recognizing the strength of your teammates, our products, and the support you received from local leadership. We understand the concerns you’ve raised around workload expectations, performance cycles, and more. Sales and customer-facing roles can be fast paced, particularly in a global environment that spans time zones, and we recognize that maintaining clarity around expectations and balance is critical. We also hear the feedback around pace and sustainability. And we like to reassure you that we remain focused on building an environment where high performance and employee well being coexist. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Pros

The company is financially strong with unusually high margins and no near term risk of losses. Compensation remains competitive relative to market conditions.

Cons

Leadership decisions consistently prioritize short term financial and IPO readiness metrics over organizational stability and trust. Frequent reorganizations, recurring RIFs, benefit erosion, and mandate changes create chronic instability and anxiety. Employee feedback mechanisms exist, but critical input is discouraged or implicitly penalized, undermining psychological safety. Responsibility for morale is pushed downward to people managers without corresponding accountability or behavioral change at the executive level. Values are heavily enforced symbolically, while leadership behavior often contradicts the principles being promoted. The operating model demands high precision in goal setting despite vague and shifting strategic priorities, resulting in misalignment and inevitable failure to meet success criteria. This environment disproportionately drives out high potential, ambitious talent, those most capable of operating elsewhere with less pay but greater trust and respect. Attrition risk is currently masked by market conditions but will accelerate sharply once external opportunities improve.

Thank you for taking the time to share a detailed perspective based on your experience. We appreciate the care and thought reflected in your feedback. We recognize that extended periods of organizational change may create uncertainty and affect trust when priorities shift or communication seems to lack clarity. How change is experienced matters, and we continue to examine not only what decisions are made, but how they are communicated and carried through across teams and regions. In terms psychological safety, we continue to invest in mechanisms such as our Voice of the Employee survey and manager enablement efforts, while acknowledging there is more work to do to ensure feedback meaningfully informs leadership actions. We also understand the connection between leadership behavior and morale, particularly when there is a perceived gap between stated values and day to day actions. Strengthening accountability and reinforcing alignment between our values and how we operate remains a priority as we evolve in support of our employees. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. Feedback like this helps inform where greater clarity, consistency, and trust are needed to support the long term health of the business.

Pros

* people are skilled and knowledgeable * 3 week work from anywhere benefit * work life balance is good for the most part * free lunch Mon-Thurs

Cons

* management is just focused on slashing costs and sprucing up financials to make as much money out of eventual IPO * outsourcing G&A jobs and replacing people who are good at their jobs with people who are incompetent * they don't give any sort of equity to anyone who is not a higher up, and are trying to lower bonuses, so you basically don't get anything when they IPO *salaries are mediocre at best
