Pros
Our senior leadership are all very approachable, willing to help wherever they are needed, and seem to genuinely care about us and about each other. I appreciate the tenets of leadership and the fact that Ed and the executive seem to genuinely believe that they should drive the DNA of the companies and be integrated into everything that we do. The snacks, lunches, and special events that occur around various holidays and events are nice.
Cons
Some of our policies, such as not being able to have our phones out or have earbuds/headphones seem a bit outdated. The PTO seems to accumulate slowly compared to other companies I've been at and some of the policies around PTO seem overly rigid. I know our leadership wants us to take care of ourselves, but that can be hard to do if we can't get time off. Financially, the world is really difficult right now, especially for anyone who is single. Offering options like remote work or hybrid work would allow me to save gas money and right now every dollar counts.
