Pros

Propeller is a group of intelligent, experienced, genuine people with a knack for getting the job done. Management has put an emphasis on hiring the right type of people to ensure rapid growth that’s beneficial to the firm and its clients, and it’s definitely paid off. The firm has also built the type of culture that will retain talent, by being 100% transparent, building a fun atmosphere, and trusting the professionals they’ve hired. It’s very refreshing working for such a supportive organization, whether it’s establishing a work/life balance, supporting a difficult or puzzling situation at a client, or furthering your training/education, people (employees) are #1 at Propeller and the firm continuously demonstrates that fact.

Cons

I have no cons to call out at this point. Propeller is extremely supportive, and is exactly what I would look for in a consulting firm.

Pros

This company is doing things the right way. It all starts at the top with the leadership. The two owners invest a lot of time, resources and effort in developing their employees and making sure that we have the right tools and knowledge base to be successful. The benefits and work-life balance are great and everyone feels vested in the success of the firm. I'm getting a lot of value out of the work I'm doing and can honestly say that I love coming to work everyday.

Cons

The coffee in kitchen could be better. We're upstairs from a bakery and the office will sometimes smell like fresh chocolate chip cookies. Between this and the well-stocked snacks in the kitchen, I've put on a little weight since working here.

Pros

The best "thing" about Propeller is the people, hands down. This is a group of incredibly intelligent, ambitious, and engaged professionals who thrive on helping make our clients successful, but who also take active roles in owning and shaping the culture and infrastructure of our fast-growing firm. Internally, our motto is that "people are our product", and the firm invests considerable time and resources towards employee training, development, and mentorship. To this end, we also devote serious time, effort, and scrutiny to our recruiting process to ensure that we bring on the right fit, even it means having to turn down work due to a shortage on the bench. Leadership is top-notch: savvy, conscientious, and humble. They follow-through, and genuinely care about us as individuals. Lastly, working here is a blast (again, the people). As cliche as it is, "work hard, play hard" is a reality here.

Cons

The firm has grown fast, with no plans to slow down any time soon. This can be unnerving for folks to need a lot of structure or who need to know exactly what their 5-year career trajectory looks like. If ambiguity makes you uncomfortable, this probably isn't the right place for you.
