Good for a while but lost their way

Pros

Fun people. Some good beer in the fridge. Friday Breakfasts. Good location in Fort Point of Boston.

Cons

No opportunity for career growth. A culture where voicing your opinion could lead to your termination. A hard to use crappy platform that sales can't really sell. Constant turnover was consistent throughout my years there. The platform is ten years old, built by basically one man who can't get out his own way to advance the product. Sales consistently missing targets and upper management preaches how well things are going. Three CEOs in the last two years says it all. Probably not the best place to work if you're looking for satisfaction or a place to grow your career.

Definitely a Growing Company

Pros

The people who work here are dedicated to doing a good job. And there are monthly pub nights and fun culture committee games to get to know the team better. Everyone here does their absolute best. Benefits are great through Insperity.

Cons

The team is quite small and there can be some office drama/rumors that get in the way of doing great work. (it tends to get a little high school sometimes.) There's very little trianing and working here is a 'learn by doing' scenario. Which would be fine if there was room for error, but the leadership does not seem to give the impression that mistakes are okay. The company is heading in a lot more corporate direction, with another round of firings more recently.

Growth and Opportunity

Pros

When backed by a $50 billion PE firm there is tremendous growth, with that comes growing pains and changes. Flexibility is a must because we do not have it all figured out. If you are looking for the 9-5, this is probably not the place for you. The goals we want to accomplish comes with early mornings and late nights. Things will never be handed to you. You have complete access to heads of this organization. Can you book a meeting with you CEO regularly? We can here. This place is a great place to start a career not a job. We have wonderful people with different perspectives and experiences. That is what it is all about, learning from each other. You have a chance to really influence this market and make a name for yourself. The new CEO is the guy who is going to take us to the top. Disregard any negative comments. They don't work here anymore most likely for a reason.

Cons

There are a few stagnant individuals that should move on. Departments are still figuring out who should handle what at times.
