Pros
Company is truly focused on benefitting its customers. Great way to transition from working at a bank or specialty finance company into something a bit further on the Tech spectrum of FinTech Overall the people are good people to work with
Cons
The technology is dated and at this point Prosper is FINtech rather than finTECH. As a US Specialty Finance company the eventual success of the business model is closely linked to the US Capital Markets and many companies with this business model can experience large disruptions in liquidity that hurt their ability to generate enough money to stay alive.
