Pros

The people In the SLC office 98% of management in the SLC office Great culture Fun relaxed Environment The Best Benefits you will find from a Sales Company in the Valley hands down! Team collaboration PRO Team!

Cons

Management in San Fransisco.... Product issues.. Upper management in San Fransisco is very disconnected from what we did in SLC. Most of the time it seemed like SF didn't care about fixing issues in SLC. We were always number 2 or 3 on the list.

Pros

Everyday is a new experience. If you're looking for an extremely fast-paced environment, this is where you want to be. Since they are still growing, you have a chance to make your mark with creating policies an procedures.

Cons

Because things are ever revolving, the company is growing faster than they have resources available. Several individuals are not doing the job that they were hired for and are getting burnt out trying to figure out what their new role is. Management does not always listen to your concerns and you risk the feeling of being "run over".

Thanks for your feedback about what it’s like to work at Prosper. One of our top priorities right now is finding great people to join our team. There are many people at Prosper who have stepped up and taken on roles and responsibilities that are outside the scope of their “job description” as the company has experienced significant growth in the past year, with more to come this year. We have positions open in nearly every department, and are hiring as fast as we can without compromising our high bar. In terms of listening to our employees, we just completed our first employee engagement survey to gather feedback from our employees on how they want to shape the culture at Prosper. This first engagement survey is going to drive many improvements and changes across the organizations and we’ll continue to do these engagement surveys on a regular basis.

Pros

Apart from good pay checks, I do not see any other major benefits coming our way. 401K, stocks and health insurance are provided.

Cons

Not well organised at technology level. Also, managers keep changing frequently. Did not feel like a stable place to work at.

Sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great experience at Prosper. Prosper is a high-growth business that is still evolving and we are making changes at all levels to ensure that we are meeting our business objectives. We are committed to growing in a thoughtful and open manner. We value our employees and our customers above everything. In terms of our benefits, we pride ourselves on a great benefits package. In addition to a beautiful new office in downtown SF that includes a communal kitchen with fully-stocked fridges, we offer fitness and commuter subsidies, 401k with company match, unlimited PTO, and 100% medical contribution for the individual to name a few.
