      - Some middle managers only know how to perform in a top-down "waterfall" style despite extensive efforts made to cultivate a more AGILE engineering management style - Novel frameworks, coding styles, architectures, etc are typically tabled or altogether dropped in favor of the familiar or status quo set - Far too many meetings, forcing many to work outside of expected work hours to complete the work expected from them
