Pros

Very positive group of people to work with. The back office support is amazing and willing to help at all cost

Cons

Being only in Texas and Oklahoma, it makes it hard to get out and grow beyond those two states. However, they are acquiring and expanding at a very rapid pace. Who knows, could be a Nationwide bank in the coming future.

Pros

The customers are fantastic, management works to ensure you are satisfied with what is happening around you. After working with Prosperity for a little under a year I was able to leave, go to college, come back and due to a job opening be hired back for the summer. This happened a couple of times, and each time I was treated with respect by management and the hiring processes was made quick to get me in as soon as possible. If I was still in the area I would try to get rehired in a heart beat.

Cons

If you are part time you often have to work Saturdays as well, making your work week a 6 day week.

A Decent First Banking Job

Pros

Room to work your way up on the loan side. Not many opportunities in Austin for tellers to move up. Customers are nice and certain locations aren't too busy. Tellers aren't forced to much to upsale products compared to bigger banks.

Cons

Tellers are underpaid compared to other banks. Pay difference between less experienced males and more experienced female tellers.
